florescent orange (daler and rowney system 3 acrylic),


distress ink pads and reinkers by ranger (in vintage photo),


sandpaper,


adirondack alcohol inks,


vintage cook books,


and stickles glitter (or any kind of glitter, really).

  1. I never knew how good florescent paint could look until I met you Juliette, now I use Florescent orange and pink all the time! See you next week at Lucky Star Art Camp, I am so excited, it is finally here!

  2. that's so nice to hear, donna! neons always seem to make things brighter, but i always stick with reds, pinks and yellow. until now... orange is my stand out :) xo

  4. What do you do with the cookbooks, I have gads of them? Don't use them as much since Pinterest.

  5. I use the cook book pages in strips for adding layers to my background or a character's body. I also love cutting out a circle from the cook books and using that as the character's face. The Betty Crocker cook book is not glossy, so it works well with acrylics and takes the paint. I love seeing the ingredients to some of my favorite recipes in the painting when I'm done :)
