pocket journals in the shop!

i've been wanting to create these little pocket journals for so long! and finally i just decided i had to make time for them!

i had so much fun stitching these paper ornaments last year and had it in mind to try stitching on handmade journals too. so i made prints of some of my favorite owls and found vintage wallpaper and origami paper to compliment each piece. then i got out my sewing machine and some gold thread and did a bit of extra embellishing!

each pocket journal measures 3.5 x 5.5" and has 32 ivory colored pages...just perfect for writing or sketching.

find the finished journals in my shop! (edit: the journals have sold out! thank you!)

i'm so excited with how they've turned out!

right now i only have these three (edit: *all of the journals have sold! i think i might need to get my sewing machine back out and make a few more.  thank you!)

  4. These are great! I've been doing the same thing with vintage fabrics on 2012 calendars! The kind I'm using have the plastic covers that you can use again, and I glue the fabric on so you have it for future calendars as well....
