I have been super busy working on some really fun jewelry and new paintings, but while they're on the drying table, I wanted to share this new piece with you. I call this cute little one, APPLE!

I have really been pushing myself to just work with the basics. I felt like I was relying too much on the prettiness of origami and vintage papers. So, I've had a lot of fun here adding a few design elements like the swirls at the horizon, polka dots around the face, and the adorable orange and white striped feet, I like to consider socks. The original mixed media painting is 10X10 inches on gallery wrapped canvas (no staples and deep sides) and created using acrylics, watercolors, ink, colored pencils, pastels and charcoal.
