i also just finished this new girl painting! i just adore her brilliant orange hair! i glued on a lot of different papers for this piece and i especially love seeing them because they were a gift from the super talented danielle daniel of her painted word...she was sweet enough to gift them to everyone in our painting class last february at an artful journey!
i wasn't sure what i would use them for, but ran across them in my supply box when i was searching for the perfect something new for this girl!

one of the newsprint pages that ended up in her hair reads, "in sight."
and so, her story goes... this girl is filled with wisdom and the insight of all ages, knowing that history repeats itself and that in taking everything in with an open heart, anything new can be IN SIGHT.
