flowers and foxes!

one of the things i loved so much about spending some time at the beach in seaside, florida these last few weeks was seeing all of the flowers in bloom! i was going to save these for next week's inspiration post...but who can't use a little extra flower color?

and i know i love flowers and springtime in wisconsin when the sight of the first purple crocus in the garden makes me positively giddy!

there are lots of other little springtime greens sprouting up all over the garden too! like this tulip right outside the patio door. i'm just delighted each year to see the colors bloom!

ps. i mentioned last week that i spotted a fox while at the beach. well, i saw him one more time before i left too (running right past my balcony) and he's inspired lots of new fox paintings!
