it has been absolutely beautiful here! and i've been making time to get outside and walk! i've been paying a lot of attention to intuition lately. and on my walk the other day, it was one of those serendipitous things that brought me to taking this photo.
i had my camera out and the sun was shining and i thought the mud looked pretty. my second thought was, "you can't stop and take photos of mud. what's so pretty about that?" but, like i said, i've paying attention to things i'm drawn to and not judging... so i stopped and photographed the mud.
and then i saw this sewer cover a bit off from the sidewalk (this photo would have been upside for me from where i'd been standing). and so i thought, "that sewer cover is pretty, i'll take photos of that."
as i walked closer i saw the start of this word (the "en" was still covered in snow). and at that moment i got these goosebumps, feeling i was just in the place i needed to be and so thankful i'd followed my gut instinct.
because when i pushed back the snow to find this entire sentiment, i knew i had done just that... LISTEN.
